“Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practice to deceive!” is a quotation from Sir Walter Scott’s long form poem entitled “Marmion”. It conveys the domino effect that our lies have on us.

What A Tangled Web We Weave

  • Designed and lettered by artist Joy Rodgers-Mernin, each print includes an "Illuminated" capital letter that is hand drawn and watercolored before being reproduced. The "Illuminated" letter is hand applied to the final piece to add dimension. Joy hand letters each quote on hot press watercolor paper before it is reproduced on a warm white paper. Each 5x7 print comes professionally framed in a silver oxidized frame. Overall dimensions, with frame, is 6.31 x 8.22.
